During this retreat we offer you total freedom to do and be as you please. There will be opportunity to attend inspired meditations to lead you within as well as personal guidance if you so wish.

As for “outings”, these will be based on nature and brought to your attention in due time.

WHERE:

Upon arrival, we will book into a B&B in Cape Town for the night.(2 persons sharing)

The next day we will have a 2-hour journey up the West Coast to Paternoster.

This is where the biggest part of the retreat will take place. Here, the energy of the sea, feeling very wild, untamed and unpredictable will assist us in our individual purpose of moving into our “I AM” presence. Paternoster, meaning “Our Father” is a quaint little fishing village, which seems to have one foot in the old and the other in the new, but is energetically moving fast. The main beach stretches for miles and allows one to loose track of time and space and be one with nature.

Here, we will create our home for the next 8 nights in one of the luxurious, 4-star 2-bedroom (or 1-bedroom) chalets in La Baleine. Each person will have their own bedroom unless otherwise requested. These are spacious self-catering units with spectacular views over the sea and bay where you have direct access to the beach. We might even set eyes on an early arrival of a whale or see dolphins.

La Baleine Cottages Silvermist

The last 3 nights we will enjoy the magnificent views from our cottages in Silvermist Lodge in Constantia Nek (Cape Town). During these days we may choose to go up Table Mountain, have a snack on Lion’s Head, or walk in Kirstenbosch. Maybe do some shopping in the hugely extended V&A Waterfront Shopping Mall. Meditations will likely be held at our home in Hout Bay.

WHEN:

Next Retreat starts 24 th March, 2008. Arrive in Cape Town airport, where you will be met by Stuart and Audrey and transferred to your B&B in Leeuwenvoet House, Cape Town. (Please see Tour Calendar for other Retreat Dates)
25 th March, a two-hour drive to Paternoster and check into La Baleine chalets
02 nd of April, check out, half hour drive to Churchaven to enjoy “Audrey’s heaven on earth”. Later in the afternoon, drive to Cape Town and check into Silvermist Mountain cottages.
05 th of April, celebration and closure of the retreat where you will be guests of Stuart and Audrey and servant to Oliver.
05 th of April transfer to Cape Town airport for your return flight home.
Note: If for any reason you can only join us until the 2 nd of April, you are fully welcome. Should you want to extend your trip in any way, we are happy to assist where possible.

FOOD:

In Paternoster we will stock you with delicious food for your breakfast and lunch so that you can choose at leisure when you wish to eat. In the evening we will eat together and enjoy Suzi Holtzhausen’s freshly prepared catering services

Sleeping arrangements in Cape Town include breakfast.

SUITCASE:

You can take old drama with you but do anticipate the possibility that you will dispose of it.

Prepare for gentle to warm days getting chilly in the evenings, casual, easy fitting clothes. A sunhat, good walking shoes (closed and open), raincoat, sunscreen, binoculars, camera, writing pad/diary, njummy for in the bath and a torch.
