GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS |

The following details the conditions and limits the
liabilities under which our tours will operate. Signature
of the reservation form represents an acceptance by
the customer and/or his/her agent of IN-SPIRIT General
Terms and Conditions.
DEPARTURES
Tours will only operate if there are a sufficient number
of passengers. We reserve the right to cancel or postpone
tours.
TOUR PRICES
Prices include transportation and details as per stipulated
itinerary of Tourplan, e.g. entrance fees, meals, etc.
All other expenses are for the private account of the
tour participant.
DEPOSIT
A deposit of a minimum of one third (331/3%) of the
total tour price per person is payable on confirmation
of booking.
FINAL PAYMENT/BALANCE
At least 30 days prior to departure or within 24 hours
of confirmation should time not allow for 30 days.
Less than 24 hours to departure: immediate payment
is required. We reserve the right to cancel any reservation
for which the total amount owed to us has not been paid
by due date. Under such circumstances any deposits paid
will be forfeited.
Day Tours booked locally can be paid for on the day
by the clients. For “no shows” we reserve
the right to charge a 50% cancellation charge.
LATE BOOKINGS
We reserve the right to charge a late booking fee of
min. R150 per booking in respect of all reservations
received less than 10 days prior to commencement of
the tour in order to cover urgent communication expenses.
This applies for bookings received from outside the
R.S.A. only. This does not apply for our Day Tours.
AMENDMENTS
We reserve the right to charge an amendment fee of
min. R150 per booking for any changes to confirmed services.
All costs in connection with amendments have to be fully
charged.
CANCELLATION CHARGES FOR OVERNIGHT TOURS
More than 60 days prior to departure: Full refund (less
administration charges)
60 - 30 days prior to departure: 35% cancellation fee
29 - 15 days prior to departure: 75% cancellation fee
Less than 15 days prior to departure: 100% cancellation
fee
Where IN-SPIRIT is acting as an agent - other cancellation
charges may apply. These charges are subject to confirmation
with us when making a booking.
CANCELLATION CHARGES FOR DAY TOURS
50% cancellation fee between confirmation and tour
date applies.
UNUSED SERVICES
No refund will be given for any partly or unused services/vouchers
irrespective of whether they form part of an IN-SPIRIT
product or a product where IN-SPIRIT is acting as an
agent only.
LUGGAGE
Luggage is limited to two items of luggage and with
a total weight of not more than 20 kg per person (economy)
and 30 kg p.p. (bus. class travelers) – hand luggage
included unless prior arrangements have been made with
us. IN-SPIRIT will not accept any responsibility in
respect of loss or damage to luggage. Please ensure
that you have sufficient baggage insurance cover.
PASSPORTS, VISAS, VACCINATIONS AND INOCULATIONS
The responsibility for the prevention of current and
valid passports, visas, vaccinations and inoculations
and the like, where required, is that of the customer
alone and IN-SPIRIT shall not be responsible or liable
for any consequence of any nature arising from the customer
failing to ensure that he/she has complied with all
such requirements.
INSURANCE AND LIABILITY
It is strongly recommended that you insure against
possible cancellation, medical costs, loss of money
and baggage, as IN-SPIRIT cannot be held liable for
the abovementioned.
We reserve the right to make schedule changes with
or without prior notice and/or variations in vehicles
used for transportation as well as hotel accommodation
and tour items: without liability to IN-SPIRIT and their
servants and agents.
We will not be liable for any loss that may be incurred
as a result of schedule changes or curtailment and suspension
of services.
RESPONSIBILITY
All arrangements for transportation and conveyance
as well as accommodation and tour packages made by IN-SPIRIT
as agents under the express condition that IN-SPIRIT
accepts no responsibility or liability in respect of
either personal or property damage, injury, loss, delay
or irregularity which may be the result of defects in
any vehicle or through the acts and/or omissions of
any company or person engaged in conveying the tour
participants or carrying out arrangements on the tour.
PLEASE ALSO NOTE
All prices are subject to change without prior notice.
Full refunds will only be effected in extreme cases
where medical reasons or extenuating circumstances occur.
This after deduction of our expenses.
